DeMint On TODAY Show – President’s Promises Don’t Match His Policies

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) appeared on NBC’s TODAY Show to discuss health care reform with host Matt Lauer. Senator DeMint held up the thousand-page government health care takeover bill that President Obama is pushing, and asked why the need to rush it through in two weeks when it doesn’t go into effect until 2013. DeMint also pointed out that many of the promises the President has made on health care simply do not match up with the actual policies he’s put forward.
