Let’s Change America

We want to make fellow Americans aware of the issues in Washington that need change, and provide them with the information along with the Bills that would bring the much needed change to our great nation. We the people can restore our republic and return our country back to our founding principles
of individual liberty and constitutionally limited government. We urge you to be passionate and come together to make this happen. Together we can.

"Educate and inform the whole mass of the people… They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty." -Thomas Jefferson

So Much For Change(0)

The Obama administration will largely preserve Bush-era procedures allowing the government to search — without suspicion of wrongdoing — the contents of a traveler’s laptop computer, cellphone or other electronic device, although officials said new policies would expand oversight of such inspections.
The policy, disclosed Thursday in a pair of Department of Homeland Security directives, describes…

Speaking Out(0)

How many of you can remember the free speech zones outside the Democrat and Republican National Conventions in 2004? Ostensibly a part of stringent security measures in a post-9/11 world, those who protested war in the Middle East, George W. Bush in general, or anything else in particular were confined to fenced areas well away from those they were protesting. I saw pictures of these free speech zones and was horrified by chain link fences and razor wire; I actually viewed in person one of these so-called zones, and I can tell you first hand that the pictures didn’t do justice to the scene.

The Mint vs. The Fed(1)

How can legal tender be illegal?
Robert Kahre is facing up to 296 years in prison. His crime? He hired workers on mutually-agreed terms, and paid them in gold and silver dollars rather than in Federal Reserve dollars.
First, some background . . .
* The face value of the U.S. Mint’s gold and silver coins are legal…

Crime and Constitutionality(0)

I’m a strong proponent of the Second Amendment. One reason for that (there are others) is that I believe that you have an absolute right to self defense. A firearm is, for many, the best and most effective method of self defense. You’ll often hear me lamenting the fact that one person at a crime scene—a passenger, a customer, a teacher, a student, a security guard, a clerk—could have saved many more if only they’d had a gun to use against the bad guy. And it’s not bragging to tell you that I’m right in 100% of those cases because it’s a plain and simple fact.

Torture: What is at Stake?(1)

Many people associate the idea of torture with the looming specter of a tyrant of yesteryear or a modern sadistic monster of some unfortunate, oppressed and backwards nation. Torture is performed by jackbooted thugs with Swastika arm patches, brutal Japanese Kempetai military police, or the Khmer Rouge of Cambodia, not by the United States, where…

Time to Open its Books to Auditors(0)

It’s time to drag the Fed out from the shadows and open its books to auditors.
The Federal Reserve’s unprecedented intervention into the U.S. economy has inflamed more Americans than almost any other issue in recent memory. More than 75 percent of Americans now support an audit of the Federal Reserve system, and it’s no wonder.
The…

Spirit of the Founders(0)

1776 saw a revolution that changed the world. This great nation is now on the verge of extinction. The republic so hard fought for is being robbed by corporatists, tyrants, socialists, and special interests. Join with the Liberty Candidates to begin our next r3VOLution!

Co-op is the New Public Option(0)

The Big Government health care bill doesn’t have the votes in the Senate and it’s taking a beating in public opinion. The latest Rasmussen Report shows that 54% of Americans now think passing no health care reform at all is better than passing the current plan.
The President and Congressional leaders have responded by appearing to…
