We have distributed materials to a number of nationally-known scholars in a push to fill our board. In the meantime, we have also been approaching State legislators across the country to enlist their support and feedback.

There is a movement sweeping the nation in nearly forty of the individual States to pass legislation reasserting State sovereignty and the restoration of the spirit and letter of the 10th amendment. You can get more information about these initiatives at http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com.

I would ask that if you live in one of these States that are considering, have introduced, or even passed such legislation, to research each of these proposals. Follow this link to see what is going on your State: http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2009/02/23/state-sovereignty-resolutions/

My request would be for you to find out what specific legislator has introduced the proposal within your State, and also the sponsors who have supported the introduction. Please contact these legislators, and introduce them to our initiative. E-mail or phone contact is great, but even more effective would be to schedule a meeting with the legislator or one of their staffers.

I thank you all for your efforts, and request you to maintain patience and vigilance as this effort gains more momentum. Do all you can to enlist your friends, family and co-workers who support limited government, and the restoration of State sovereignty and Individual liberties.

I’m urging you to please pass this amendment proposal along to anyone and everyone that you know.  Just take a look at the draft proposal, and you’ll quickly recognize that this is exactly the type of change that our country needs now.
