National Debt

America’s National Debt is increasing at a very alarming rate.  The cost of war, stimulus plans to try to curb the recession, and wasteful government spending all add to the share of debt that each American owns.  There is no way that we can allow the debt to increase without ever addressing it.  The graph below shows how the debt has increased over the last 39 years.  The sharpest increase occurred during the Bush Administration, but since it ends at 2008, it does not currently reflect the trillion dollar deficits that the Obama Administration is expected to have.

Get involved today and let your Congressmen know that the rising National Debt is completely unacceptable.  Let them know that we want to see fiscal responsibility in Washington just as we are expected to have it ourselves.
